The Attachment feature provides the following user interface elements:
A system folder called Attachments under the mail tree. Click the Attachments folder to view the attachments in your Inbox. The Attachments folder is a virtual folder that provides the user interface for browsing and performing various actions on your attachments.
The Attachment tab provides tasks that you can perform on the attachments. The attachments appear in a grid format.
You can perform the following actions:
Open: Opens the selected attachment. Select the attachment and click Open in the attachment action toolbar.
Alternatively, double-click the attachment.
A new tab is created and the attachment appears. Clicking the attachment also displays the basic information about the attachment.
Note - Only images in JPEG format can be opened for viewing.
Save: Saves an attachment on the local computer.
Select the attachment and click Save on the action toolbar.
View Message: Opens the message viewer tab with the email that contains the selected attachment. Select the attachment and click View Message in the attachment action toolbar to view the message that contains the attachment.
Send: Sends the selected attachment as an email. The Compose tab opens with the selected file as an attachment. Select the attachment and click Send to send the attachment.
Refresh: Refreshes the attachment grid and displays new attachments new attachments that are available. Click Refresh to refresh the page for new attachments.
Filter: This option enables you to filter attachments based on certain criteria. To learn more about using search filters, see How Do I Search for an Attachment Using Filters?
