Calendar provides an option using which you can create recurring events. For example, if you frequently perform a task or an event in a set pattern, you can create an event once and specify the recurrence criteria. This way, you just need to create the event once, and based on the recurrence criteria your event or task is created for the future dates.
You can create the following types of recurring events:
Daily: Events that occur daily.
Weekly: Events or tasks that occur every week.
Monthly: Events or tasks that occur every month.
Yearly: Event or tasks that occur every year.
For every recurring event, specify the following options to end the event:
Based on a given date: Specify the date on which you want to end the recurrence of the event or task.
After 'N' occurrences: Specify the number of times the event or task to recur by selecting a number from the drop-down list.
Never end: If you want the event or task to never end, you can choose this option.
There are two ways in which you can create recurring events:
Basic Recurrence
Advanced Recurrence
